Effects of Low Testosterone
Male testosterone levels are at their highest when men are in their late teens to mid-20's. As men get older, their bodies produce less testosterone - by about one percent per year after the age of 30. While this is normal, some men produce a significantly less amount than others.
Estimates show that as many as 15 million American men suffer from low testosterone levels, sometimes called "Low T." Low testosterone can lead to a medical condition known as hypogonadism, which has many symptoms including fatigue, decreased energy, reduced sexual desire, and depressed mood.
